Hi there! We are South and our client is looking for a Social Media Manager! Note To Applicants - Eligibility: This position is open to candidates residing in Latin America. - Application Language: Please submit your CV in English. Applications submitted in other languages will not be considered. - Professional Presentation: We encourage you to showcase your professional experience by including a Loom video in the application form. While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority. About The Role Our US-based client is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager (70% creator / 30% manager) to build and scale our organic presence across LinkedIn and Facebook (current), and launch new communities on X, Instagram, and Reddit. You’ll own strategy, creation, publishing, and community engagement focused on fraud, data security, and cybersecurity in residential real estate—serving institutional SFR & multifamily operators, MLS/Association executives, and residential property managers. What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months) - Follower growth: Material increases across all active platforms. - Engagement rate: Sustained lift in reactions, comments, shares, and saves. - Content velocity: Consistent, channel-appropriate posting cadence you define and run. - Pipeline impact: More booked meetings originating from organic social (tracked via agreed source/attribution). - Community building: Active dialogue and recurring participation within our niche (esp. LinkedIn + Reddit). What You’ll Do - Own channel strategy & roadmap for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Reddit—set goals, benchmarks, and posting cadence per platform. - Create the content: write posts/threads, design carousels/graphics, cut short-form clips, and package thought-leading narratives suited to each channel. - Engage the community: reply to comments/DMs, participate in relevant subreddits and industry chats, and cultivate power users/advocates. - Editorial calendar & repurposing: turn webinars, product updates, case studies, and industry news into snackable multi-channel content. - Analytics & iteration: report weekly/monthly performance; test hooks, formats, and CTAs to improve reach, engagement, and meeting conversions. - Light vendor management (as needed): brief and manage freelancers for overflow design/video; uphold timelines and quality. - Brand stewardship: maintain an educational, friendly, thought-leader voice with clear guardrails; ensure claims are accurate and compliant. - Social listening: monitor conversations on listing fraud, squatting scams, data/privacy issues, and policy trends; surface insights for marketing & product. You Have - 3–5+ years growing B2B social channels (SaaS and/or real estate/proptech a plus). - A creator’s toolkit: copywriting, short-form video editing, basic graphic design, and story packaging across LinkedIn/X/IG/Reddit. - Proven track record turning organic social into qualified meetings (case studies or portfolio welcome). - Comfort operating as a team of one—from strategy to shipping—and knowing when to pull in freelancers. - Strong analytics chops (UTMs, dashboards, channel KPIs) and a test-and-learn mindset. - Familiarity with fraud/cybersecurity/data-security topics—or the curiosity to ramp quickly with industry nuance. Nice to Have - Experience building Reddit communities and running AMAs or expert threads. - Knowledge of SFR/multifamily/MLS ecosystems and their decision makers. - Webinar clipping and motion graphics fundamentals. Tools & Environment - You choose the stack (we’ll provision what you need): social scheduling/analytics, lightweight design (Figma/Canva), and video editing (CapCut/Premiere). - Access to freelancers when necessary; expectation is you create most content yourself. Reporting & Work Style - Reports to the CEO. - Fully remote (no location/time-zone constraints stated). - High ownership, bias to ship, clear weekly reporting on progress and experiments. How We Measure - Channel growth: follower adds and audience quality. - Engagement: rate and meaningful interactions (saves, comments, replies). - Content output: cadence you propose and deliver by channel. - Booked meetings from organic social (volume and trend).
