The Payroll Associate 1 is responsible for managing and processing payroll-related transactions, vendor payments, ensuring accurate financial documentation, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure payroll data is correctly recorded, reconciled, and reported. Key responsibilities include: - Consolidating and verifying payroll-related requisitions, including cash, payment, and PCF requests, from various departments or individuals. - Conducting thorough checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll requisition documentation. - Preparing payroll reports summarizing the details of transactions and requisition activities. - Collaborating closely with the accounting team to track, reconcile, and report payroll-related requisitions, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed. - Processing liquidations for each requisition, ensuring compliance with organizational payroll policies and procedures. - Aligning liquidation reports with financial records to meet payroll reporting requirements. - Handling payroll-related bank transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, and fund transfers, according to established procedures. - Preparing payroll bank reconciliation reports to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll transactions and financial records. - Maintaining proper documentation and filing systems to support payroll transactions and facilitate audits. - Staying informed on relevant payroll regulations and industry best practices, implementing necessary updates to ensure ongoing compliance. - Assisting with other finance-related activities or projects as assigned by the supervisor. Additionally, this role includes managing and processing payments to vendors, ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with organizational policies and payment schedules.
